Google announced 3 new Nexus devices: Nexus 6, Nexus 9 and Nexus Player, as well as new version of Android 5.0 Lollipop. Here’s the summary of new announcements.
Nexus 6
Nexus 6 is built by Motorola and will be available for pre-order on October 29. Off-contract it will cost $649.99 for 32GB version and $699.99 for 64GB version. In US, it will be available on AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless, and US Cellular. Presence of Verizon Wireless is notable, as the last Nexus device that Verizon carried was Galaxy Nexus back in 2011.

Nexus 9
Nexus 9 is an HTC-made tablet and it will replace Nexus 10 in Google Play Store. It will cost $399 for 16GB model and $479 for 32GB model. LTE-enabled version will cost $599. The pre-order starts on October 17 with retail availability on November 3rd. Folding keyboard case will be offered as an accessory.

Nexus Player
Nexus Player is the first device based on Android TV platform and it will be available for pre-orders on October 17th. and in retail stores starting November 3rd. Google’s first attempt at conquering living rooms with Google TV was not successful, while Chromecast, released last year has been a hit. Nexus Player is built by ASUS and will be offered at a competitive price of $99.
