Another Android 2.2 FRF83 update is now available for non-rooted Nexus One. See xda-developers for the discussion of this build. The update procedure is the same as updating from FRF50 to FRF72, with the obvious exception of the update file downloaded in step 2. To pick the correct update file to download, check your current build number: Settings -> About phone -> (scroll down) -> Build Number. If you are running:

With this update, some protected applications that were “missing” from the Market while running FRF50 and FRF72 now show up in the Market. Does it mean that this is the final Android 2.2 FroYo release? It’s too early to say.
